Rebook Rocket — simple description for Privacy + Terms (updated)
What Rebook Rocket does
Rebook Rocket is a web app for appointment-based businesses (Health & Wellness, Professional Services, and Beauty & Personal Care) that use Calendly. It helps providers fill last-minute cancellations and openings by collecting a client waitlist via an online form, storing those waitlist entries in Rebook Rocket’s database, and sending notifications to those clients when openings become available so they can rebook quickly.
Privacy-relevant description (plain language)
Users
- Providers/businesses: create an account, connect Calendly, configure rules/preferences, and manage their waitlist and notifications.
- Waitlist clients: submit their information via an online form to join a provider’s waitlist and receive notifications about openings.
Data processed
- Provider account data: email, name/business info (if provided), authentication/session data.
- Waitlist client data (stored in our database): email address (and any additional fields included in the form, such as name, preferred times/services, notes, and consent/preferences).
- Calendly data: scheduling/availability and webhook payloads needed to detect cancellations/openings and coordinate offers (may include event metadata and participant details depending on what Calendly sends).
- Email delivery data: recipient address, timestamps, delivery status, and message content as needed to send notifications and troubleshoot.
- Billing data: subscription status and related identifiers/events via Stripe (payment card details handled by Stripe, not stored by Rebook Rocket).
- Technical/log data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies/local storage for authentication, and security/diagnostic logs.
How it’s used
Operate provider accounts, sync scheduling changes, store and manage waitlists, send email notifications, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability.
No SMS
Rebook Rocket does not send SMS messages and does not require phone numbers unless a provider collects them for their own purposes.
Third parties (processors)
Calendly (scheduling/webhooks), Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (billing), Resend (email delivery), hosting/infrastructure providers, and operational tooling used to run the service.
Terms-relevant description (plain language)
- Service scope: tools to manage a waitlist and email clients about openings; no guarantee of bookings or client responses.
- Provider responsibilities: providers are responsible for the services they provide and for ensuring they have the legal right/consent to collect client data via the form and to email clients (including honoring unsubscribe/opt-out requirements).
- Waitlist storage: waitlist entries are stored in Rebook Rocket’s database to provide the service.
- Third-party dependency: features depend on Calendly and email delivery providers; outages/changes may affect functionality.
- Booking source of truth: final scheduling/booking occurs in Calendly (or the provider’s booking flow).
- Billing: subscriptions are paid via Stripe; cancellation/renewal/failed-payment terms should be specified.
